In-person art classes fill the need not only to create and be inspired to develop artistically, but also fill the innate need we all have as humans to be around other people. We are social beings, and connecting is important for our inner selves. Studies show that getting together and sharing in common interests with other people can improve longevity, and contribute to a deeper sense of well-being and happiness.

At Garten Creative we strive to create an environment that exudes calmness, and peace, away from the chaos and clutter of every day life. We encourage you to look deep inside to create (art) that is uniquely to yours.

We all have a story to tell, and art helps us do just that, but if we aren’t telling our story, who’s is it really, then? That’s why we discourage the use of cell phones or any other devices during our workshops. Unplugging helps us to tap deep into our own: feelings, emotions and selves. This is your “me time” for self discovery and growth.
